I don't need to tell you how I feel about how the current WECRD board of directors has handled bringing recreation to Mountain Home, Idaho. My views are public and has been reasoned out in my mind. But how are the people of Mountain Home and Elmore County feeling about the upcoming election? You only have to go to the Mountain Home News website to see the poll numbers they have collected.

My Take on the Numbers
- Polls like these are not very scientific.
- These poll numbers can change drastically in the next 10-12 days.
- The candidates in this election are lucky there isn't a "Dissolve the Western Elmore County Recreation District".
- I suspect that the current board members will be not be elected on Tuesday November 2nd,2010.
- We need a common sense, no nonsense approach developing a recreation program.
- We need Recreation Now. Not in 5 or 10 years.
