This story really doesn't have anything to do with my life off Interstate 84 but it certainly does have ties to Idaho. Idaho is clearly a cattle ranching State and red meat is quite important to our economy. In some of my posts, I've been critical of the cattle industry in Idaho. Critical because almost every mountain trail or desert wash I have visited, cow patties are present. So, yes...I wish there were places were cows were not allowed. Having said that, a person, family or business should have the opportunity to make a few buck and live the American Dream and if that means cow poop, I guess I have to live with it.

When I read the story of a young gentleman who was detained by the police for taking a picture of workers maintaining an ATM machine in Seattle, I was annoyed. How could someone be cuffed and taken away just for taking a picture of an ATM? I was feeling sorry for this guy...sort of. That is until I read about his business. Yes, this individual has the right to make money in his chosen line of business but that doesn't mean I have to like it. I do not have to like it any more than I like having to do the "Texas Two Step" to avoid cow patties while walking up an unnamed gulch in the Owyhee's.
Apparently the cuffed, detained and self proclaimed Anarchist picture taker, Shane Becker is in the business of selling T-Shirts. He is also a vegan...

In celebration of Shane's cuffed hands, I'm barbecuing two 16oz T-Bone Steaks tonight.
