Life off Interstate 84 - Idaho

I attended the Sunday August 7th, 2011 Rumble and Road Car Show in Mountain Home. It was a relatively cool morning and I had a good time talking to the car/truck owners as I weaved my way through Carl Miller Park.

9th Place – 1965 Pontiac GTO

Owners: Pat and Carolyn from Meridian, Idaho
This car brought back memories from high school. I had a friend who owned one of these and we did a lot of cruising in his “not in as good of shape GTO” a long time ago.



8th Place – 1967 Camaro SS

Not sure this is a 1967 but it sure was a nice car. I helped a friend rebuild his 1968 Camaro SS back in the 1970's. His car ended up turning in some pretty fast times on the drag strip. Good memories were drudged up from seeing this car.

6th Place – 1937 Chevrolet Coach Sedan

Just a cool looking car that was nicely restored.



5th Place – 1956 Chevrolet 210 Sedan

Wonderfully restored old car. A pleasure to walk around.



4th Place – Old Ford Something

Don't know what this vehicle is but the paint job was flawless (in my eyes) and is just a plain cool looking car.




3rd Place - 1958 Chevy Sedan Delivery

Paint job and overall condition was amazing. Might have taken 2nd place but the interior was “too modern” for me.




2nd Place – 1935 Studebaker Dictator Coupe

Classy car that was super clean and easy on the eyes.

I did a quick search of the internet and didn't find a list of the official winners for this Mountain Home Car Show. My list of winners is based solely on my personal opinion. I thank each and every car owner in this show. You provided a great time and experience for me.
