Early October 2011 Snowfall

A strong, early season storm from the Gulf of Alaska moved through the Pacific Northwest and laid down a carpet of fresh snow on Bennett Mountain outside of Mountain Home. Snow reports around southern Idaho showed:
Mountain Home Youth Center
The Mountain Home Youth Center received a fresh coat of paint thanks to some volunteers.
I will be attending a Fund-raising brainstorming session at the Youth Center on Tuesday October 11th, 2011 at 7:00 PM. Theresa Bowman is organizing this event.
Stoecker Jewelers New Look
The building occupied by Stoecker Jewelers, Hair Base Barbershop and A Little Slice of Heaven recently got a much needed fresh coat of paint. Amazing how new a paint job can improve the looks of this little section of downtown Mountain Home.
Also looks like Stoecker's is getting a new and improved website found at: http://stoeckerjewelers.com

- Trinity Mountain: 9 inches
- Mud Flat Road in the Owyhee's: 1 inch
- James Creek Summit near Atlanta, Idaho: 5 inches
