Digging for Mountain Home's Sister City

E-mail Print PDF

Fluff article!
I'm not sure if Mountain Home has an official “Sister City”. If it doesn't, maybe we can dig one up. Get that shovel out and start digging straight down. What you'd find isn't China but the southern portions of the Indian Ocean. If you were an extremely accurate digger, you end up at the bottom of the ocean. But if you veered off course about 500 miles to the southwest, you'd end up in a little known island chain.

Port-aux-France on a remote island chain called the French Southern and Antarctic Lands is the closest city/town Mountain Home could have if we dug deeply for a sister city. This according to a website called “Antipodr” (http://www.antipodr.com/).
