This picture was taken on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Land just outside the Grand View Gate at Mountain Home AFB. The mid and higher level clouds did a great job of reflecting the rising sun to produce this multi-hued photograph.
Interesting Map View
The map below shows a “sky view mural” created in what looks like a shallow lake bed. I don't know the history of this feature but the “T-Bolts” are really the 389th Fighter Squadron located on Mountain Home AFB.
