Long line of rocks, colorful hills and close to the end of the day |

Not far from the intersection of Phifer Creek Road and the Middle Fork Road I saw a long line of rocks piled so high I could no longer see the stream. I suspect these rocks are from old mining activity?????? The three whitish dug out areas on the left side of the picture could be newer mining activity but I'm just not smart in gold mining methods. |
