March 1st, 2011 from a Reuters News Agency article: “Libya could descend into civil war unless Muammar Gaddafi quits, the United States said on Tuesday, its demand for his departure intensifying pressure on the longtime leader after news of Western military preparations”.
- My question to the Obama administration….what type of war is in progress right now in Libya? By the way President Obama, that was a rhetorical question.

March 1st, 2011 in Local Business: Heard from the back office at a local business [I don’t care if the customer is unhappy or not satisfied with our service. As the manager, I have other things to worry about].
- Keeping customers with this type of attitude might be tough. I walked out shortly after hearing that paraphrased statement.

Gas Prices: In the last 17 days, the price of gas has gone up $0.40 a gallon. The economic recovery is going to be expensive for everyone who drives a car/truck or relies on products or services that are in any way tied to transportation. Yes, the Civil War in Libya has had some impact on gasoline futures. But I suspect “the experts” are severely over-estimating the impact from the turmoil in the Arab World.
- Prediction: Gasoline will be at or above $4.25 a gallon in Mountain Home by Labor Day 2011.
